Striking Colors in the Ever Beautiful Vineyards

I absolutely love the striking colors of fall and the best place to get them with very short travel is in the every beautiful Santa Maria Valley Vineyards.  The reds and yellows of the vines take your breath away.  I can’t tell you much about the wine because I just don’t like it much so you know I am not making a sales pitch for any vineyard.  I just went to three that are just a few miles from home.  Lots of people do drink wine and if you want to wine taste great but if you like taking photos then the vineyards are a great place to take them.

I set out to sew a warm beautiful robe for a young man.  The young man just happens to be my wonderful grandson, Michael.

My wish is to sew something that he could enjoy on Christmas morning and hopefully a lot of cool mornings after Christmas.  Sometimes it is hard to make something that a child enjoys but Michael is an easy child.  He loves almost everything but its hard to keep his clothes on him at this stage of his young life.
