Shell Beach is a beautiful little town on the Pacific Coast. It is a short drive and I love the quaint park on the shore with seating. I wanted to see the damage all the recent weather had done to the sea wall. There was a little damage as you can see in the later photos.
I love the beach view with the rocks. I like capturing the movement of the water.
Birds and Fish
The seagulls and turkey buzzards were out scoping the fish. There were a couple of fish on the shore and both were eating on the fish.
The turkey buzzard really does look like a turkey.
I really like this photo of the Pacific Ocean in black and white. The water splashing on the large rock really set the scene.
I hope you enjoyed the pictures of the park and the Shell Beach area. It is a really wonderful place to visit. If you come to visit you can stay at one of the hotels on the beach or stay in Santa Maria or San Luis Obispo, CA.
The area has lots of vineyards and in Santa Maria we have the famous Santa Maria BBQ which is not to be missed. San Luis Obispo has the Farmer’s Market on Thursday nights which offers fresh vegetables and anything else you would want to eat. Come give the Central Coast a long look.
